Struggling to make a decision?

Many of my clients work with me because they want to make more powerful decisions.

When we start working together, they find making decisions uncomfortable.

And so they've often been putting off making a decision. Or spend weeks going back and forth not deciding.

Or they make a decision then spend hours questioning whether it was the right decision or not.

All of which sucks so much time and energy.

 

Maybe making decisions feels uncomfortable for you, too.

Especially when our brains love to paint a very detailed picture of the worst case.

Of how it'll never work out. How you'll fail and look stupid.

 

But the worst case scenario your brain offers you is just a guess.

It can’t predict the future.

And it’s important to keep in mind that this guess is coming from a brain that’s designed to keep you in the cave, doing what you’ve always done.

 

So what about the best case?

How much time do you spend thinking about how it might work out better than you imagined?

How you might just be able to work less in your business, spend more quality time with your family and feel less stressed?

 

Probably not very much. 

Again, because your brain is doing what brains do and is focused on the worst case.

Maybe you spend 99% of your time thinking about the worst case and 1% thinking about the best case.

(But even then not reaaally thinking about the best case, just in case you jinx it and it never happens)

 

Here’s the crazy thing: the more time you spend thinking about the best case, the more likely it is to happen.

(and no, you won’t jinx it)

Because when you focus on where you want to go, your brain gets to work.

 

When you spend time thinking about your future self working less, feeling more energised and being fully present with your kids, you’ll make decisions today that move you towards it.

Because you’re making decisions from the future you want.
